Plant Life Stages
Plant Life Stages
What came first, the seed or the plant?
Plant Seeds
What we need to do is first obtain a seed and plant it. Put it in some good topsoil and fertilizer. Then, water it and wait for it to grow.
Watch Them Sprout
When you first see a sign of a plant, then the seed has sprouted. It’s in the beginning growth stages.
See Them Mature – Root Structure Develops
The plant will grow into an adult plant size. The roots generally take up the same space as the plant above ground. Plant the seed in a clear container so you can see the roots develop.
Flowering
Once plants get mature enough they will flower. The blooms shape and configuration can indicate the type of plant you have.
Reproduction
Flowers attract pollinators and that helps the flower to produce fruit and/or seeds. These seeds can be eaten by humans or planted to make more plants. It does depend on the variety because some plants have been hybridized and the seeds don’t reproduce.
Repeat
The cycle is repeated forever.
