Plant Cell Diagram
Plant Cell Diagram
Nucleolus
The round center of the middle of the cell shaped like a round ball.
Nucleus
The nucleus surrounds the nucleolus and is contained within the nuclear membrane.
Nuclear Membrane
The nuclear membrane holds in the nucleus and nucleolus. It also touches the cytoplasm.
Cytoplasm
The cytoplasm is the larger area that surrounds the vacuole and the nuclear membrane. This area has the mitochondria.
Vacuole
The vacuole is the larges area of all. It is dark green and hollow because it is used to transport liquid.
Ribosomes
Ribosomes are tiny and contained within the cytoplasm.
Mitochondria
Mitochondria are the larger brown areas contained within the cytoplasm. They are the energy producers of the cell.
Chloroplast
Larger bean shaped items that are located on the outside of the vacuole.
Cell Membrane
Cell membrane is the inner cell wall that contains the plant material.
Cell Wall
Cell wall is the outer most part of the plant that contains all the material.
Endoplasmic Reticulum
It’s the outer part of the nuclear membrane.
