Ponds and Fountains

When my business coach called me and told me I had to install a pond, I thought the idea was crazy. " I don't have time for a pond!! " I told him. Our company made ponds, but I was so busy it didn't seem worth it. My business coach said I needed the experience and told me to get a pond or a new coach.

I Got a Pond

Whenever I do something, I like to do it well. So, I built a pretty good sized pond in my backyard. The results were amazing.

Family Time

I found that I started spending more time outdoors. It was fun sitting next to the pond and talking with family. I especially spent more time with my teenage son and spouse. The pond emotionally recharged all of us and increased our family bonding. These days it's hard to know what to do when you turn off the television. I found out, that for us, it was simply a matter of not having a very good alternative space to go to. Once the pond was in, it was a lot more fun being outdoors.

Our Son's Plans

We spent around 30k on our son's secondary education. He wanted to become a race car engine mechanic and was close to graduation. One day, while sitting next to the pond, he said "Mom and dad we have spent a lot more time together just "hanging out" since we got the pond. It's been great. You know.... I think there are a lot of guys out there, just like I used to be, who don't talk to their parents very much. You know what I think mom and dad? I think the best thing I can do is make Ponds. I want to make ponds instead of racecars!" And that's how our son joined the family business.

Ponds really do connect us emotionally with nature and each other. They will be a great addition to your landscape.
