Plant life brings spiritual being into our modern world. Why? Through nature we are all connected.

Garden Benches

Garden Benches
If you spend much time outside in  your yard, you will eventually want to sit down.  Garden benches are unique because they are built for outdoors.  The bench should work seamlessly in the landscape.  Here are some of the most popular types.

Wood
Wood benches are the most elegant and look natural.  They can go on the patio or be hidden along a secret garden path.  They are also great for someone trying to go for the rustic look.

Wrought Iron
Iron benches are very durable and make the garden feel like it has strength.  It is also fun to plant vines that grow between the iron spaces.  Wrought Iron is often ornate and can bring artistic value not seen in other mediums.

Stone
Stone benches are often overlooked because people just don’t think of them.  They are not available at big box stores. The best place to get a stone bench is from a rock quarry retailer.  They make their own benches.  They are very heavy and more difficult to put in place, but they look is spectacular.  Imagine have a flagstone patio with a bench and table to match out of stone.

Plastic
You can buy it almost everywhere.  It is light and easy to move. Plastic is easy to clean and very durable.  The only drawback to plastic is that is isn’t natural and a lot of people don’t love the look.

Good Places to Put a Stone Bench
An entry way is a great place for a bench.  Most people will not sit on it that much, but it looks really nice.  The patio is probably the other most common place to find the garden bench.  Perhaps the all time favorite spot for a bench is along a garden path that is somewhat secluded.  Imagine sitting in a secluded spot under an ornamental patio tree with your loved ones.
